Hi everybody, Nic Here!

Ok, I suppose I should be the first one to do this. I'm Italian, 25, and I'm currently in Dublin to attend an internship at Cultivate. After a degree in Sociology in Italy, I decided to come over here to improve my English.. actually, to learn it, I'd say.. But also to spend a while abroad, to get in touch with new people/culture/food/ideas/approach, mainly through a job experience. And I found I was quite happy about this: Dublin is packed with young people in my same situation, and Cultivate, as you know, is ran by a crew whose experience and background is quite impressive. You can learn a lot, here.. and not just about sustainability, but life itself. So, basically, when I came over here in October I started to organize cultural events in Temple Bar Area, like a Xmas Market.. Then more focused events in Cultivate. I really enjoyed that, but I felt like something else had to be done. First, I got a band within the Jazz Society of Trinity College: not only rock 'n roll rocks! Then, when I found I was still hooked on my research practices, I decided to join a research partnership with the Centre for Non Profit Management of Trinity College - School of Management. Indeed, being interested in organizations as cultures, I started to study the way Cultivate works.. rather tricky job, you'd say! Anyway, on the basis of that analysis, I decided to build up this thing because I believe this will be useful for the big widespread community which is actually Cultivate. Now: I really don't know where this will lead us.
